WARRANTY AND REPAIRS

aut-aut® offers a 2-year conventional warranty on all jewelry purchased directly from our brand. This warranty covers exclusively any goldsmith manufacturing defects or deviations from the HDI technical specifications (clearance ~0.1 mm) of the B-Terminal, confirmed by a technical assessment by our experts.

Warranty Implementation
Should a goldsmith manufacturing defect or a confirmed HDI technical non-conformity occur, aut-aut® undertakes to restore the integrity of the symbol. This can be done through technical maintenance (where possible and not involving the breaking of the monolithic resin potting) or, if the HDI integrity is compromised, through the genesis of a new identical work, consecrated ex-novo to your history.

Technical assessment and beyond the pot maintenance
The aut-aut® watchmaking stratigraphy, with its monolithic "sandwich" embedded in resin (Potting Technology), is designed for eternity, not for superficial repair. Any intervention that exceeds the potting barrier is an act of deep technical maintenance, not a simple repair.

Technical Inspection

For warranty or maintenance requests, our HDI experts will examine your jewelry to identify the cause of the problem. Their technical assessment is final.

Maintenance costs

Confirmed manufacturing defect or HDI non-conformity: aut-aut® will cover all technical and goldsmith costs for the restoration or new genesis of the symbol.

Interventions due to normal wear or external events
If maintenance is required due to the inevitable passage of time on the goldsmith metal, or for feasible technical interventions not linked to HDI non-conformity (and which do not require opening the monolithic resin potting), a technical maintenance fee will be charged.

Maintenance constraints
Please note that our conventional warranty expires instantly if the work has been subjected to interventions, maintenance, or attempted modifications by unauthorized third parties. Any attempt at resection of the monolithic resin potting will invalidate the warranty and the symbol will lose its soul.
